An Old Favourite Rises Again

One of my favourite climbing images. It's always nice to see them going to good use...

MEC Learn

The light this evening was beautiful. I don't shoot much climbing these days, I miss it. Part of the reason is the relatively little demand for climbing images, part of it is a shoulder injury that doesn't appreciate jugging fixed lines all day, and part of it is lack of time. It seems I'm always working on other jobs or personal work. There's nothing quite like hanging on a rope a hundred feet off the deck photographing rock climbing in a spectacular location. Changing lenses is quite the adventure! I certainly don't miss the 70+ pound load of camera & rigging gear I had to haul around though... Check out some of my other climbing images in my Sports Portfolio.

BTW, MEC has a great section on their website with lots of general outdoor knowledge, and gear buying advice. Check it out (and my image) here:

I've been on the road lots this spring, hence the lack of postings... Stay tuned!

Cheers, Josh

Thanks for popping by to visit! I love your photography, and I hope you don't mind me posting the link and directing others here -- the Japanese float pictures is beautiful and almost luminous.
