Garry Oak Ecosystem & Wildflowers

Got out and explored a few local parks today, one of which was Gore Nature Park - a beautiful Garry Oak Ecosystem that was protected from development. A great little park, and the wildflowers are out in force right now!

    Your unidentified flower looks like satin-flower, Sisyrinchium douglasii.

    Nice shots! I will need some Gulf Islands wildflower images very soon. I'll give you a call.
