ATTN: Photographers - Full DRR Shutdown Imminent

Unless you've been on the road shooting, or have had your head buried in the sand for the last few weeks, you probably already know that Digital Railroad is shutting down.

What you may not know is that the DRR website, and all of its users images will most likely be completely and permanently inaccessible after midnight tonight, October 31.

If you are a DRR user, or know someone that is, PLEASE make sure they know about this and have taken the necessary measures to download and backup all of their images, or they may be lost forever. Thanks for spreading the word.

Cheers, Josh

Website Refresh

As you most likely have noticed, I've got a new look to my site today. Hit the link below to find out what's new:

- The first thing you'll likely notice is a fresh revision on a familiar design. I really liked the colour scheme and general look and feel I had going previously, but it needed a little refining. Simpler navigation, new logo, etc. Nice 'n' Fresh.

- Less noticeable is the fact that I've moved to a wider layout, expanding the width of my layout by over 150 pixels. 97% of my web traffic is using monitors of 1024x768 or larger now, and it was time to move up. More size means bigger images, and I've got lots of 'em.

- Completely new Portfolios. 4 of them. Big. Flashy (but not too flashy). A few old favourites and lots of new work from this past year, both from assignments and personal work. Let me know what you think of them.

- Bigger images in my stock archive. All images in my stock library show up at over over 700 pixels now. A completely new feature is the ability to click on any image in my stock library and see it at 1000 pixels. They look better than ever.

Got a few other really cool things coming down the pipe soon, stay tuned!

Fire your comments below, I'd love to hear what you think. If any of you notice anything strange with the layout, I'd be grateful if you could send me a screenshot, along with your browser and OS info, so I can fix it!

Cheers, Josh
